Staff training in the workplace
This service is to provide training to staff in any business on fire safety awareness in their work place. We can also offer training to anyone to be appointed as the Fire Warden in the business.
We can also provide training in the practical use of fire safety equipment, including fire extinguishers and blankets.
As a follow up to the training sessions, we can also run a fire drill to help put into practice the advice and training provided.
Advice to Staff
This service would benefit businesses with a lot of seasonal staff staying in staff accommodation. This session would include advice on basic fire safety in the workplace and accommodation, along with the best fire drill procedures in the event of a fire. We can follow up the training session with a fire drill to help implement the advice that was given in the session.
Fire safety Group presentations
We provide presentations to groups on fire safety, including the Women's Institute, Ladies Circle, the Round Table and the Memory Café. These presentations are designed to educate the community in fire safety and will raise awareness.
Young person visits
This includes visits to the fire station or the airport for school classes, Brownies, Rainbows and the Cadets. This aims to educate young people in basic fire safety and how to react when there is a fire and to educate them in what being a firefighter involves.
