Renewal of Marriage or Civil Partnership Vows
Thinking of renewing your vows, then why not come to the beautiful Isles of Scilly?
This ceremony is for any married couple or civil partners that wish to celebrate renewing their vows in a unique and personal ceremony
Often these ceremonies are associated with a special anniversary, such as tenth, twenty-fifth, fortieth etc but this ceremony is just also appropriate for couples wishing to celebrate their renewed commitment to each other. If you were recently married or held your civil partnership abroad then this is the perfect celebration so that family and friends who were not part of the original ceremony, can share your special day.
We can offer a choice of ceremony words or you can create your own which will include a welcome and introduction, readings of your choice, renewed promises to each other, re-dedication of your original rings or the exchange of new ones.
The ceremony will be conducted by a Registration Office or Celebrant and will be unique and personal to you.
A commemorative certificate, which is signed during the ceremony by the couple and the celebrant, can be purchased.
