THE MEDIUM-TERM AIM
The Community Safety Partnership is not only looking at reducing crime from year to year, but we must also look at longer-term aims for the community. Below is the link to our Partnership Plan, a document which outlines our aims between 2008 and 2011. This time frame was chosen because this coincided with the time-frame for Safer, Stronger Communities funding, our sole source of income. Any change in government or any change in direction from a given government could result in this funding be taken away or drastically reduced, or even increased! Whatever the outcome of change, it would certainly impact on our capacity to work towards a Plan, and this is why the Partnership Plan is currenly only running between 2008 and 2011.
