Family Support

The Family Support Officer provides a fully integrated service and support for families across the Isles of Scilly. Bringing together agencies within Children's Services to provide a wide range of activities to support families and children across the Islands. The integrated approach aims to provide a universal service for our small Island community and to pick up and help address any issues at an early stage to the benefit of families across the Islands.

Committed to achieving the best for all children in line with the five outcomes detailed in Children Act 2004 and the government's Every Child Matters agenda, work is undertaken with a range of partners including the school, health services, social care, childcare providers and training and voluntary organisations focused on helping young people up to the age of 18 and their families.
