Parent Workshops
A range of workshops take place within the Children's Centre aimed at parents, carers and extended family. Workshops are organised with a view to adults learning about specific topic areas, meeting with professionals from the mainland and enjoying being in a group situation with other adults who have similar interests. Keep an eye on the website for future Parent Workshops. Workshops that have been delivered in the Children's Centre include:
- Parent First Aid
- Passionate about Parenting
- Promoting positive behaviour in the home
- Makaton (signing sessions)
- Talking tips
- Informative sessions built into the Baby Club
