Five Islands School Achievement and Attainment Tables

The DfES publish annually School Achievement and Attainment Tables. These tables are designed to provide information on the achievements of pupils in the Five Islands School, and how they compare with the England summary. The Tables aim to provide a store of easily accessible information to parents and the wider community on how well the Five Islands School is performing.

The DfES advise that to obtain a complete picture of a school's performance, the tables should be read in conjunction with other documents such as school prospectuses, governor's annual reports, Ofsted reports, etc.

Four sets of the Tables are published annually. They are:

  • Primary School Tables showing results of Key Stage 2 tests, and a Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2 value added measures for all maintained primary schools in England
  • Secondary School Tables showing results of Key Stage 3 tests, and a Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 3 value added measures for all maintained secondary schools in England
  • Secondary School Tables showing results in GCSEs (and equivalent) and other vocational qualifications, and value added measures from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 3 to GCSEs (and equivalent) for all schools
