All building works are required to comply with building regulations. The Planning Department can provide you with information on building control, including building regulations, demolitions, derelict properties.

The building control officer visits, but is not based on the islands, so please contact the Planning Office beforehand if you wish to discuss a proposed project or work in progress.

Application forms and details of the current fee regime can be supplied upon request.
