Age Concern Cornwall & Isles of Scilly will be starting a special dial-a-ride service on St Mary’s later this summer.
The service will be avaiable for people who are over the age of 60 or with mobility problems, and are permanent residents of St Mary’s, St Agnes, St Martin’s, Tresco and Bryher. The service will be available for transport around St Mary’s. Passengers wishing to use the electric minibus service can call and register on the number below.
The bus, which has wheelchair access, can be used for journeys to health appointments, the library, Normandy swimming pool, visiting friends and family, shopping and more.
The Buzz-a-Bus will operate a pre-booked door to door service and passengers from other islands can travel from the quay to wherever they would like to go on St. Mary’s.

Once registered, would-be customers can then make quick and easy bookings via the number above, as soon as the service is in operation. For each one-way trip, there will be a small charge of £1.00 per person.

Monday 09:00 to 12:30
Tuesday 08:30 to 12:30
Wednesday 13.00 to 16.30
Thursday 08:30 to 15.30
Friday 13.00 to 17.00
Saturday 10:30 to 14.00
