1. Local Connections
1.1 Parents resident on the Islands at birth, lived on the Islands until aged 16 and lived on the Islands for 2.5 out of the previous 3 years = 10 points
1.2 Not born on the islands but lived on the Islands for 20 years or more of the last 25 years = 10 points
2. Homelessness/Unsettled Accommodation
2.2 Accepted by the Council, in priority need, unintentionally = 25 points
2.3 History of previous unsettled accommodation ie. more than 3 addresses in the last two years = 20 points
3. Current Accommodation
3.1 Sharing with parents
- Applicant under 25 = 10 points
- Applicant over 25 = 20 points
- Applicant over 30 = 25 points
- Applicant over 35 = 30 points
3.2 Sharing with relatives or friends
- Applicant under 25 = 10 points
- Applicant over 25 = 20 points
3.3 Renting from Private Landlord
- Sharing facilities with landlord = 15 points
- Short term let (winter/summer/weekly) = 15 points
- Assuredshorthold tenancy = 10 point
3.4 Tied accommodation provided with your job = 10 points
3.5 Temporary accommodation provided by the Council = 15 points
3.6 No accommodation = 25 points
