The flood risk is MEDIUM for the south coast of Cornwall and the coasts of the Isles of Scilly and LOW for the coasts of south
Devon for Sunday morning.

Assessment of flood risk
Coastal / tidal
On Sunday, strong to gale force south-easterly winds and large waves at the time of the morning high spring tides bring a
medium likelihood of significant impacts from spray and wave over-topping along parts of the south coast of Cornwall and the
Isles of Scilly. This brings a MEDIUM coastal flood risk. Typical impacts may include; flooding of parts of communities.

Typical disruption here may include flooding of individual properties due to spray and wave over topping and flooding of low lying coastal land and roads.
Astronomic tides are high from today until Monday bringing a low likelihood of minor impacts from coastal flooding more
generally.

WE DISCOURAGE WAVE WATCHING SPECIFICALLY IN THE OLD TOWN AREA DUE TO THE HIGH SPRING TIDES AND STRONG WINDS DURING THIS TIME.
