Are you sure you’re registered to vote?

Recently the Elections Department sent out two forms: one asking for a list people living in a property and another, to individuals, asking for their date of birth and National Insurance Number. If you haven’t completed your individual form and returned it to us, you may not be registered. If you’re not registered you can’t vote.

Did you know that if you’re not registered to vote it can affect your credit rating which in turn can make it difficult to get a credit card, mobile phone contract and mortgage?

We need all applications to register before 20 November 2015. So if you’re unsure or just don’t know if you are registered, ring us on 01720 424358 to check.

If you know you’re not registered you can go to www.gov.uk/register-to-vote. You will need to know your date of birth and your National Insurance Number.
