Did you miss the last Finance, Audit and Scrutiny Committee (FAS) meeting? Here are some key points from the meeting held on Tuesday, 1 March 2016.
- The council tax base and fees and charges for 2016/17 were recommended to Full Council for final approval next week (8 March).
- The Folk Club received a £500 grant to stage their folk festival. If you would like to apply for a community grant then please contact the Authority!
- Risk Management Registers for the Corporate & Democratic and Finance & Resources service areas were published.
- The Chairman of Council thanked the Finance and Resources team for the “unreasonable hours” worked by them in recent weeks.
