The Council of the Isles of Scilly and partners are looking for a pool of housing for long term rental for permanent residents of the islands, these are for staff and key workers. This is to ensure recruitment to important community roles like an Environmental Health officer, senior social worker and the new midwife, if we fail to recruit locally
The rental payments would be paid by the tenant on a normal short term tenancy agreement. Neither the Council or it’s partners would be responsible for the rent or the agreements, but would act as a broker putting interested tenants in touch with private sector landlords in a coordinated way.
