Licensing Policy Consultation

The Council is required under the Licensing Act 2003 to review its Statement of Licensing Act Policy at least every five years.

The current Policy is now being reviewed and takes into account changes that have occurred to the legislation and the statutory guidance since the last publication of the Policy in 2010.

The Council of the Isles of Scilly is not currently proposing to seek to introduce a Late Night Levy or Early Morning Restriction Order.

The full public consultation will run until 14 November 2014 and the Council invites you to comment on the draft Policy.  Consultation responses can suggest amendments, deletions or additions as considered appropriate.

All consultation responses will be referred to the Licensing Committee at its meeting on 27 November 2014 to review and recommend a fully revised Policy to Council for adoption.

Please look at the revised draft Policy and let us have any comments by 14 November 2014 preferably by email to licensing@scilly.gov.uk.
