The Council of the Isles of Scilly is responsible for the Rechabite Slip Boat Park next to Holgates Green on St Mary's.

Rechabite Boat Park Application
The boat park is specifically for boats with a maximum permissible length of 4 m (13 ft) and the following letting policy applies:-
- The Rechabite Boat Park is a facility designed to complement the day to day use of the harbour and boating within the islands. As such the park is not intended to provide long term storage for boats, rather it is intended for those who are normally resident on the Island and who have a small sailing craft, punt which they can use and maintain on a regular basis.
Conditions for issue of permits
As a result of consideration of the heavily oversubscribed waiting list for a boat park space, all future applicants wishing to join the waiting list and present permit holders must take note of the conditions on the issue of permits effective from 1 April 2001.
