Temporary Prohibition Order
The World Pilot Gig Championships are held in the Isles of Scilly each year through the early May Bank Holiday. Following a risk assessment of the area around the Strand where the gigs are stored and from where they are launched, there is a Temporary Prohibition Order on traffic between 1200 hours on 1st May to1200 hours on the 6th May 2008.
