If you are looking to comment on the lastest (August - September 2019) public consultation on the Submission Draft Isles of Scilly Local Plan 2015-2030 then please following this link. If you are looking for the current Local Plan, adopted in 2005, please follow this link.
The Council of the Isles of Scilly, as the Planning Authority for the area, has a statutory duty to prepare, monitor and review a Local Plan for the islands. The Current Local Plan (2005) and the policies it contains are saved and the Planning Department have been working to produce a new Local Plan (2015 - 2030) in consultation with Members of the Local Plan Working Group. There has been considerable public engagement through the earlier part of the process, particularly through the “Local Plan Review – Scoping Report” eight week consultation event in 2015 and on the Draft Local Plan in 2018 and again in February 2019. The responses to these consultations together with our experiences and monitoring from using the 2005 Local Plan, evidence from reports and research and Government guidance, including the NPPF, have all helped to influence and shape the new draft Local Plan.
