Dog control on the Isles of Scilly

As the summer season commences we would like to remind all residents and visitors of the Public Spaces Protection Order that took effect on 1 October 2016 with regard to dog control on the Isles of Scilly.

The seasonal dog ban on Porthcressa and Porthmellon beaches in Hugh Town and Old Town beach in Old Town runs from 1 May to 30 September.

Dogs must be kept on a lead on certain streets in Hugh Town between 8am and 6pm from 1 May to 30 September inclusive.

Full details on dog control on the Isles of Scilly can be found at the following page: scilly.gov.uk/business-licensing/environmental-health/dog-control
