Removal of Waste from St Mary's, Isles of Scilly to a Suitable Disposal Site

The Council of the Isles of Scilly is seeking a provider to remove waste from its Waste Management Site at Moorwell, Porthmellon, The contract involves the removal of 200 tonnes Incinerator Bottom Ash (IBA), 100 tonnes crushed glass and an amount of black bag waste estimated at 864 tonnes over a 12 month period (estimate based on data which suggests a 72 tonne per month average). These materials are to be taken from the Waste Management Site on St Mary's, Isles of Scilly and taken to a suitable disposal or treatment site. Contractors are required to coordinate all aspects of the transport of the materials from the site on the Isles of Scilly to their final disposal/treatment and must do so in a fully legally compliant fashion.


The contract is required to commence early April 2015.
