All tenders must be returned by 3:00pm on Tuesday 17th February 2015 and must be compliant with the instructions as set out in the invitation to tender document and the Schedules Doc.
The Council of the Isles of Scilly is seeking to transfer the Visitor Information Service on St. Mary’s to another organisation. As a transitional arrangement the aim is to award a 24 month contract for the provision and management of the Visitor Information Service from early March 2015.
The aim of the Visitor Information Service on St. Mary’s is to ensure that visitors get the maximum possible enjoyment and appreciation of the Isles of Scilly.
This will encourage them to a) return and b) become an ambassador for the islands recommending others to visit. The service also provides information to both current and future visitors prior to their arrival assisting them in their travel and accommodation arrangements and answering any other enquiries they may have.
