We are pleased to confirm that the Isles of Scilly Airport should be operating as advertised throughout May, including during the World Pilot Gig Championships Bank Holiday weekend.
The Council, the Isles of Scilly Steamship Company and partners have worked together to provide a solution that ensures advertised operations continue throughout next month, despite the recent challenges facing the airport, although slight variations to flight times may occur.
Amanda Martin, the Chairman of the Council said: "We are extremely grateful for the excellent work that the teams at the Isles of Scilly and Land’s End airports have delivered jointly with the Skybus operator. All the Isles of Scilly transport partners will continue to work together to develop and deliver long-term solutions to our islands’ transport needs".
