We appreciate it can be difficult to balance work and family life and that there is a need to ensure school age children are kept safe, happy and active outside of school hours. We want to hear from families who have experience of trying to achieve this balance on Scilly, particularly as government has announced an intention for every school age child to have access to wrap around care.
We are offering two “Childcare Chats” on Microsoft Teams, for parents, carers and any other interested parties to discuss with us the challenges this commitment from government presents on the islands, and to think about how we might find solutions together.
