IMPORTANT FLOOD WARNING INFORMATION FOR THE ISLES OF SCILLY

The Environment Agency has advised that flooding is expected for Isles of Scilly including St Mary's, St Agnes, Bryher, Tresco and St Martin's.

Forecast tide levels and sea conditions on the Isles of Scilly over the morning high tide at 6:18am on Thursday 28 March 2024 could cause coastal flooding, including overtopping of sea defences and sea spray in exposed coastal locations. Force 6 southerly winds are forecast with offshore wave heights up to and exceeding 6m.

People are advised to stay away from risk areas and take care next to the coast. It is recommended that caution is exercised at least 2 hours either side of high tide due to the wave climate and high water levels. In addition to wave and sea over-topping, there may be a risk of flying debris.
