IMPORTANT: changes to how you access a coronavirus test on the Isles of Scilly

There are some changes to the way you access a coronavirus PCR test on the Isles of Scilly. These changes are necessary as the call handling facility we were previously using is no longer available.

As of 30 July, to access a PCR test on the islands you need to:

  • call 07955 434608, 9:30am to 2pm, Monday to Friday or 9:30am to 11:30am on Saturdays
  • or email keepscillysafe@scilly.gov.uk – test requests will be handled at the times above.

Please note: test requests cannot be processed on a Sunday.

You must access a PCR test when:

  • You are experiencing coronavirus symptoms.
  • You have had a positive lateral flow test result and need to get a confirmatory lab test.

You can find full information on coronavirus symptoms and testing on the Council’s website. This page also includes information on how to access rapid lateral flow tests.

If you are a business owner on Scilly, please ensure you update your customer information as soon as possible to reflect these changes. If you're currently displaying one of our posters about testing on the islands, please replace the old version with the one below (click on the image).
