We’ve been made aware of loose slates falling from the Lloyds Bank building in Hugh Town on St Mary’s this morning (Wednesday, 28 February 2024).
We have placed barriers in front of the building and advise the public to keep their distance and to avoid the surrounding area until the building has been made safe and the barriers have been removed.
If you have a vehicle parked in the area, we advise that you move it as soon as possible and then avoid the area until the barriers have been removed.
