[UPDATE 07/05/2026: We’re pleased to confirm that we are no longer asking non-urgent visitors to Park House to consider delaying their visit. This is because the last incidence of sickness/diarrhoea occurred over 48 hours ago and the risk of contagion has reduced.]
We’ve been informed that there have been cases of vomiting and diarrhoea at Park House Care Home on St Mary’s.
We therefore request that non-urgent visitors do not come to Park House until we can confirm that symptoms have not been present for 48 hours.
We ask that anyone who continues to visit washes their hands well with soap and water, both before and after visiting, in order to prevent spread.
