Normandy Swimming Pool reopening

Active Scilly is delighted to announce that Normandy Swimming Pool has been repaired and will open with a Christmas Holiday timetable from Monday 21 December.  

In line with government COVID-19 guidance, our bather number has been reduced to a maximum of 10 people per session. To compensate for this, Active Scilly have programmed in a selection of Family Swim Sessions for you to enjoy, along with lane swimming, relaxed swims & Splash Tots.  

Chairman of the Council, Robert Francis said: “this is fantastic news and we are delighted that the pool will be open for the Christmas holidays, a big thank you to the team for pulling together to keep this key leisure facility open for the Islands.”

Lead Member for Adults, Dan Marcus said: “I am really happy that this great resource is now open. I know the team has worked really hard to get this result and I have offered my personal thanks for all their hard work. Happy swimming!”

The Christmas Holiday Timetable will run until Sunday 3 January, with a new timetable starting from Monday 4 January, so watch this space!
