On Wednesday 7 May 2014 the Council of the Isles of Scilly entered phase two of its reshaping. The new structure has been proposed by the Senior Leadership Team to both the staff and Members and a 45 day consultation period has commenced in relation to those proposals.
Phase three of the reshaping (Direct Labour Force (DLF), Fire Services, Airport & Park House) will begin on 1 July 2014.
During the consultation period staff from across the Authority have been placed ‘At Risk’ and will have the opportunity, following finalisation of the roles required, to apply for any post within the new structure. Staff have also been provided with the chance to have one-to-one meetings with members of the Senior Leadership Team to provide feedback in relation to the proposals and the content of the role profiles. The final structure will be confirmed upon completion of the consultation period.
