We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join the Council’s Waste & Recycling team in a role directly contributing to improving the environment of the islands.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of waste management services for the Isles of Scilly.

The role is flexible to cover all aspects managing waste and recycling, including its collection and processing and assisting the Waste Site Manager on the efficient and effective running of the Porthmellon Waste & Recycling Site and providing customer support to members of the public.

Role includes opportunities to gain formal qualifications and includes working with other council teams to support the wide range of services delivered to the community.
